2 Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination

Shark Travel is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). We cultivate an inclusive workplace that embraces individuals of all backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

3 Workplace Flexibility & Remote Work Framework

As a modern 24/7 global travel advisory service, Shark Travel operates a blended model encompassing on-site office locations, hybrid environments, and fully remote roles.

Remote Working Standards

Team members approved for remote work must maintain a private, secure, and ergonomic home workspace free from background noise during client calls and team meetings.

Timezone & Communication Protocols

Employees are assigned scheduled operational shifts aligned with US timezones (EST, CST, PST) and Indian Standard Time (IST). Team communication is maintained through authorized corporate channels (Portal Chat, Zoom Phone, and corporate email).

High-Speed Connectivity & Hardware

Remote personnel must maintain reliable, encrypted high-speed broadband connections. Corporate laptops or secure endpoints must have company-mandated antivirus, VPN, and patch policies enabled.

4 Code of Professional Conduct & Ethics

We hold our team to the highest ethical and professional benchmarks. All personnel must adhere to our core standards:

  • Honesty & Transparency: Always provide clear, unbiased flight, hotel, and itinerary advisory without deceptive sales tactics or undisclosed markups.
  • Conflict of Interest: Employees must avoid personal, financial, or business relationships that conflict with Shark Travel's interests, including unauthorized moonlighting with competitor agencies.
  • Anti-Bribery & Compliance: Absolute adherence to the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and anti-bribery regulations. No employee may offer, give, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper gifts.
  • Professional Communication: Treat all travelers, partners, and colleagues with dignity, promptness, and professional courtesy at all times.

5 Anti-Harassment & Whistleblower Safeguards

Shark Travel maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual harassment, verbal abuse, cyber-bullying, offensive behavior, or hostile work environments.

Protection Against Retaliation: Any employee who reports misconduct, safety hazards, financial fraud, or harassment in good faith is legally protected against retaliation, adverse employment action, or intimidation. Reports can be submitted confidentially to HR at hr@sharktravel.us.

6 Data Privacy, Confidentiality & IT Security

Protecting traveler personal data and proprietary company assets is essential to our operations:

  • Customer Data Confidentiality: Passenger names, passport numbers, travel schedules, and payment records must be handled in strict compliance with our Privacy Policy, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and PCI-DSS requirements. Customer data must never be exported to personal devices or unauthorized platforms.
